The result of the move request was: Not moved. This question can be revisited after more projects are released. The proponent IJBall says (below) '..we may not be able to resolve this naming issue right now.' EdJohnston (talk) 03:47, 15 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Kacey ClarkeKacey Barnfield – As per credits (via IMDb), subject has been overwhelmingly credited (it looks like at least 80% of the time) as "Kacey Barnfield" rather than as "Kacey Clarke". Even her 2018–2019 roles look to be primarily credited as "Kacey Barnfield". Thus, as per WP:COMMONNAME, this article should be moved back to Kacey Barnfield (where it was, until it was moved in August 2016). --IJBall (contribstalk) 20:46, 28 September 2019 (UTC) --Relisting. SITH (talk) 14:25, 7 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose pending more/better evidence. IMDB is not a reliable source per WP:IMDBREF and is slightly misleading as those "2018–2019" roles seem to be belated releases or stalled projects that actually predate the name change. There seems to be a dearth of decent sources–certainly recent ones–but note this Guardian review of Blood Orange which refers to her as Kacey Clarke, not Barnfield as stated on IMDB. • IMDb is generally reliable when it comes to credits for released projects (though I agree it's definitely not reliable when it comes to "not-yet released" projects) – it's not used for bio info, and is nearly always supplanted by other WP:RS for film release/casting info. Note that I am not denying that she was going by "Kacey Clarke" circa 2016 – that's when both Blood Orange and 10 Year Reunion were released (and when the article was moved). But if she really has been credited as "Barnfield" during 2018–2019 (and at least some of these look post-2016, not pre-2016), then the article move was "too soon" and unjustified. --IJBall (contribstalk) 04:46, 29 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
    • However, another piece of evidence in your direction is this from 2017, which also lists "Kacey Clarke"... At this point, we probably will need to see the actual credits of these yet-to-be-released projects, so we may not be able to resolve this naming issue right now. --IJBall (contribstalk) 05:07, 29 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
      • (edit conflict) Regarding her more recent credits as "Kacey Barnfield" on IMDB: Enchanting The Mortals has a Facebook page that was last updated in 2016 (stalled project?); Bayou Tales Facebook page last updated in 2016 (belated release?); Welcome to Curiosity also seems to have had a belated release (something to do with this?); and Neron had a trailer posted on YouTube in early 2016. So I'm not convinced by this line of argument, and my feeling is that we should probably keep the current title per WP:NAMECHANGES. PC78 (talk) 05:17, 29 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
