Rename[edit]

I suggest to rename the article as KRL Jabodetabek due to Depok also include in this connection in expansion projects. Depok is administrative city located between Jakarta and Bogor.Gsarwa (talk) 15:33, 23 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

In the latest new routes that integration all of the trains in Jabodebetabek with 6 main routes and a loop-line system, I think the name should be Kereta Komuter Jabodetabek or Kereta Commuter Jabodetabek due to it is full integration and not all of them use KRL.Gsarwa (talk) 14:54, 23 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Line numbers[edit]

Sirap bandung has added an interesting template to represent the KRL lines. I didn't know these lines had numbers; is there a source for the line numbering? - HyperGaruda (talk) 16:01, 2 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

You are free to edit and are encouraged to expand the article for rail transport in Indonesia. Mistakes can be corrected, it is better than nothing. Code number is for easy reference for people in other countries. If you have better legend to describe the service route, please edit. -twoscore- (talk) 16:28, 2 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Let's take the Singapore MRT as an example. The Singapore MRT lines also do not have line numbers. On that wikipage, the lines have plain names like Downtown Line. KRL lines seem to only be named by the terminus relation (e.g. Duri-Tanggerang). In tables, the lines are indicated by their names with a coloured background. For the KRL that would probably look something like:
Line Stops Length Opened
Jakarta - Depok - Bogor 25 54.6 km 1930
Jatinegara - Depok - Bogor
Duri - Nambo

About the name[edit]

'KAI Commuter Jabodetabek' is a corporate name. PT.KCJ use 'Commuterline' and 'KRL Jabodetabek' interchangeably as their brand name. All their social media accounts use 'Commuterline' or variations of it, while the official website use 'KRL Jabodetabek' when referring to the entire system.

I would like to suggest 'KRL Commuterline Jabodetabek' as the proper title of the article. This is the name the KCJ's official website use for their header. This title includes KRL as the type of transit (compare with Manila LRT, Singapore MRT, NYC Subways or Tokyo Metro), brand name (Commuterline), and locale of the transit (Jabodetabek) Yoshiharu10 (talk) 04:33, 14 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Translate articles written in Bahasa Indonesia[edit]

I think the Indonesian article authors must translate the articles written in Bahasa Indonesia into English. The reason for this is simple: Non-Bahasa Indonesia speakers need not to rely on machine translation (specially for Chrome users, because Google offers machine translation if the article is not written in English) in order to, at least, have an insight what is written on the article. For example, I live in the Philippines, which is an archipelago north of Indonesia, and stumbled across the article in search for information about former Japanese trains. Rename again[edit]

PT Kereta Commuter Jabodetabek (PT KCJ) has been changed legally to PT Kereta Commuter Indonesia (PT KCI) due to rail connections are include Rangkasbitung in the west and Cikarang in the east, both are outside Jabodetabek. Name and logo changed are done with anticipation of further connections across Indonesia.Gsarwa (talk) 05:26, 20 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Table does not show properly outside visual editor.[edit]

The table is a mushy mess outside visual editor. It looks good on visual editor, but became a mess outside of it. This how the table looked like this before and after I edited it: https://i.imgur.com/WIsCjo5.png This is how it supposed to look like: https://i.imgur.com/qjmtBHh.png

Does anyone know how to solve this? Thank you. SugiyonoWongTegal (talk) 11:37, 29 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
