Rationale for deletion of disambiguation page[edit]

Per the WP:Disambig page, "If only a primary topic and one other topic require disambiguation, then disambiguation links are sufficient, and a disambiguation page is unnecessary." Since the radio station call letters are the primary identification and the acronym for Madynat al-Malik Khalid al-'Askariyah in northeastern Saudi Arabia is a secondary identification, a hat note is sufficient and requires no more steps than would a disambiguation page for people seeking the special city. - Dravecky (talk) 03:44, 28 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

The compass rose logo shown in the article infobox was discontinued on the station's Web site sometime in late 2011 and by February 2012 replaced with a new logo showing a green silhouette of a tree, according to the Internet Archive's Wayback Machine. The current logo is merged with the background in a page-wide banner format on the station's home page, but a similar stand-alone PNG version with a clear background was used originally, which can be obtained from the archived February 2012 home page. The wording "KKMC 880 AM" has been replaced with "KKMC 880 AM/97.3 FM" in the current version, using a bold sans-serif font that I have been unable to identify as yet. — Quicksilver (Hydrargyrum)T @ 20:54, 14 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
