Drafting order?[edit]

This seems to be the most secretive data about the KHL Junior Draft: determination of the drafting order. Currently nothing is known as to who drafts when but I heard rumors of a lottery between the non-playoff teams, whereas playoff teams are ranked in decreasing order of regular-season record and presumably, playoff rankings seem to affect who gets to pick last, i.e., in a season where no expansion is made, the Gagarin Cup winner would pick last. Maybe the CBA has more information as to but it is likely that the KHL's CBA is made available in Russian only.

Also, the NHL has been very explicit as to how the drafting order is determined. If anyone has any information pertaining to the drafting order, it would be greatly appreciated. However, it is known from the very first draft that picks can (and often will) be traded either during the season or on draft day.--Xiaoshan Math (talk) 19:17, 15 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
