Is this "revolutionary Juanita Concept" notable? I'd suspect not, as the only Google hit on the term in quotes is from the website referenced by this article, but still, I'm not sure this shouldn't be VfD'd instead of speedied. Tonywalton 18:20, 9 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

The "Juanita Concept" referred to in this article is really just the school's word for "open-concept" school, quite revolutionary and fairly popular in the US in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Juanita was one of the few high-schools built from the "ground-up" as an open concept school, and its experiment, and ultimate failure as an open-concept in the 1980s is noteworthy. Google open-concept school and you should find quite a bit of information, including schools that continue to operate in this way. This article needs plenty of cleaning-up and fleshing-out, but seems to me to be worthwhile.
