Don't trust everything you read[edit]

As a bit of a follow-up to yesterday's "he's a Brown! No wait he's a Dolphin!" business, this Deadspin piece shows how Cameron and his agent used the media through false reports as a negotiating ploy. It's always important to wait for a transaction to be confirmed. Hopefully anyone reading this will keep this in mind the next time a deal is reported.[1] It's an interesting read that illustrates the problems we deal with here when a player is in a "reported transaction". – Muboshgu (talk) 14:17, 13 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
