I call horseshit. There are plenty of buildings taller than the Brown sciences library.--Loodog 20:30, 17 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, what they mean is that the tallest point in Rhode Island is the top of Brown's observatory on Jerimoth Hill in Foster. --Roger Williams 05:31, 30 August 2006 (UTC)

Ah. This article sure reads to me to say that the ugly piece of Brutalist architecture on Thayer St is tallest point in RI.--Loodog 18:33, 30 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
"...is the second highest point[citation needed] in Rhode Island behind the Brown University science library[citation needed]..."
Yeah, I think this pretty conspicuously reads a false piece of information, seeing as how the Bank of America building is taller even accounting for differences in elevation. This should be removed.--Loodog 16:39, 5 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

History section[edit]

Hey, folks, I'm from California and I don't know anything about your town. But how can this article not have a history section? The town was incorporated before there was even a United States, it must have a FABULOUS history! I hope someone will undertake the writing of a history section. Per Wikipedia style for articles about cities, it should be the first section - right after the lead and before Geography. Thanks. --MelanieN (talk) 17:43, 23 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
