ODNB content[edit]

There is quite a bit more about Reynolds in the ODNB article cited, explaining patronage in particular. Another point is about the daughter marrying James Sowerby. The ODNB article on Sowerby makes the marriage in 1820, Sowerby's second; but says it was Reynold's widow rather than daughter. They had the same two first names ... but 59 years between marriages is not so plausible. Charles Matthews (talk) 22:57, 1 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
