Notability[edit]

I really hate to be the one to ask, but if individual fight cards for so-called "minor league" MMA promotions aren't notable, should guys who have never done anything but appear on Ultimate Fighter have their own Wikipedia page? Perhaps you should win a numbered UFC fight before you actually get a page. 68.225.171.64 (talk) 23:09, 11 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

– the fighter has 250 daily views. The other pages get 0 views, although there is a fair amount written about a couple of them. People are primarily searching for the fighter. Marty2Hotty (talk) 04:27, 12 August 2023 (UTC) — Relisting. — DaxServer (t · m · e · c) 07:54, 19 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support per WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. See pageviews. - Station1 (talk) 04:40, 12 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support. Clear primary topic by page views and long-term significance doesn't seem to favor any of the others. (It's not quite correct that the other pages get zero views, but for this request all that's necessary is that they get a very small number of views. In the future I'd suggest not overstating those sorts of claims.) Dekimasuよ! 06:29, 12 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose. Pure WP:RECENTISM. The fighter is probably the least notable on the list by long-term significance. -- Necrothesp (talk) 13:57, 16 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support everyone else has something additional in their titles already (positions, additional names, etc.) Nswix (talk) 14:28, 19 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
    • Completely irrelevant to disambiguation. -- Necrothesp (talk) 13:59, 21 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose per Necrothesp. There are six men listed upon the John Dodson disambiguation page, with the fighter's recent high profile being an insufficient reason for elevating him to primary topic above the combined notability of the remaning five men. —Roman Spinner (talkcontribs) 05:57, 25 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose per Necrothesp; the MMArtist is in the news and active, so suffers from RECENTISM as people who is actively participating in their career frequently are. The long term primarity is not established, considering the lack of multiple titles -- 67.70.25.80 (talk) 09:41, 25 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
