Overall:
Pass/Fail:

  • I'd suggest moving the attitude and playing style section to the end of the article, after the pro career. It jumps into things that aren't covered yet, so seems out of place. Especially as it comes after a quote from Greene saying he wants to be remembered as not being mean, then shows some pretty mean things.
Done Good point. I had it there for flow but chronology is probably more important.
  • "Noll and the Rooney family agreed..." note that the Rooney's own the team.
 Done
  • "He...appeared on the cover of Time magazine in December 1975, a rare tribute." Clarify what exactly was the rare tribute here.
Done I went and removed the "rare tribute" part as the author doesn't make it clear exactly what was rare about it. I could assume he means appearing on the cover of Time but I don't know for certain.
  • "The defense allowed only two touchdowns over nine games. The Steelers were defeated by the Raiders in that year's AFC championship game." Has no citation.
 Done
  • "His wish went unfulfilled, however, as the Steelers failed to make the playoffs in each of his final two seasons." Also no citation.
 Done
  • "As of 2016, he has since returned to his home state and resides in Flower Mound, Texas." Returned from where?
Done I was assuming he was living elsewhere but I'm not sure. I removed that part.
  • "His wife of 47 years, Agnes, with whom he had three children, died in 2015." This is the first mention of her, and his children. Should it maybe go earlier in the article, perhaps in the early life section? Just feels odd to have it briefly mentioned here.
Done Admittedly, writing about personal info is usually not my forte. I added some additional info into the early life section.
  • "He finished his career having played in 181 out of a possible 190 games..." and "His durability allowed him to play in 182 of a possible 190 games..." don't add up. What is the real number?
 Done It was 181.
  • Reference 4 is dead.
 Done Replaced.

Other than those few things, it's a really good article and quite well-written. Kaiser matias (talk) 01:57, 27 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the review. I'll try to get to this and make these fixes sometime on Monday. Lizard (talk) 02:07, 27 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Sounds good, I look forward to seeing the finished version. Kaiser matias (talk) 02:18, 27 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
That should be everything. I didn't have access to Newspapers.com when I first worked on the article. It's a great luxury to have. Lizard (talk) 03:11, 28 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Excellent, looks even better now. Kaiser matias (talk) 06:29, 28 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
