Conspiratorial rubbish[edit]

Plenty of unsourced allegations formed the bulk of the article. I removed the spurious, unsourced material. These allegations, and comments placing Hauer in six degrees of separation from plots and ooincidences, were wikipedia at its worst. Dogru144 21:31, 6 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I would like to make a suggestion to the first section because the dates are rather unorganized: "Jerome Hauer is currently the Chief Executive Officer of The Hauer Group LLC, a consulting firm. From 1989 to 1993 Hauer was the Director of the Indiana Department of Emergency Management, which was during the gubernatorial administration of Evan Bayh. In the early 1990s he received a master's degree in emergency medical services from the Johns Hopkins University School of Hygiene and Public Health (now known as the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health) and later became a member of the Johns Hopkins Working Group on Civilian Bio Defense. He wrote several articles on possible bio terrorist attacks. (paragraph) In 1993 Hauer joined IBM to manage programs for Hazardous Materials Response and Crisis Management and Fire Safety. In this role, Mr. Hauer was responsible for coordinating the country’s medical and public health preparedness and response to emergencies, including acts of biological, chemical and nuclear terrorism. Informative and well written article, stylistically perhaps more investigative journalism than encyclopedic but this adds nerve and makes reading pleasant. Yeslove 19:49, 18 April 2007 (UTC) This appears to be simply copied over from a blog post (see first link). It is the usual conspiracy theory "connect the dots" type argument with no sourcing.Brainster 03:13, 15 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
