Notable interments[edit]

I've removed the following entry from the article. The place is full of veterans of the Korean War, and of the 160,000 or more interred, there are doubtless many thousands with long, stable careers following their military service. The cemetery's own site does not list Mr. Baggett among its notable.[1], and there is no Wikipedia article about this person. Before adding this back into the article, please document here how this person's notoriety surpasses that of everyone else at rest there who are not named in the article.

I removed a reference to Walter E. Cleveland as a notable internment. While all veterans are notable to their loved ones, Mr. Cleveland did not meet Wikipedia guidelines — Preceding unsigned comment added by JB2K (talk • contribs) 21:13, 23 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Relocation of Buried Service Members[edit]

Hello, I found on Ancestry.com a record from the U.S. Civil War Hall of Honor for my second great-uncle indicating that he and number of other veterans were disinterred from other local cemeteries (in his case, Weslyan Cemetery) and re-buried in the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. According to this record, at least 3,741 individuals were disinterred and relocated in this manner. Perhaps this is how the cemetery was first established? This seems like something that should be covered in this article. Do others have any information about this? A link to this record is below. Thank you.
