Untitled[edit]

I agree with the most recent edits. There are many comments that are poorly substantiated or documented. Citations are required to substantiate the material, especially so as to remove this from family myth, to an actual encyclopedic article(everyone has ideas of being related to someone or some people. but how often does that turn out to be un true!). The article is in danger of being a sort of marketing self- promotion for the children and could use a more academic feel. I am going to edit one sentance, because since we lack evidence or proof of a wife, I will change that to reflect the `mother' of the children until we have a proven wife. I tried to correlate some of the information about the Cornell claims, but unfortunatelzy Cornells alumni pages did not support whether or not this person actually graduated or attended. I think it strange that they left out details about the mother. After an unsuccesful reasearch, I can not verify whether there is one or not. The resource that shows the siblings of J.J. Renouard also fails to show any of the other claimed names even though it offers a lot of detail for many generations back. It does not trace Patinot lineage though- only her marriage to his father 84.161.82.2 (talk) 17:13, 21 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
