I think that Jaylen Brown's deleted tweet supporting the Black Hebrew Israelites should be included in a conspiracy theorist section under his personal life if Kyrie Irving has one too. Their antisemitic beliefs are trash. If Wikipedia attributes Irving to have them, so should Brown. 96.244.124.80 (talk) 08:33, 24 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
“This criticism was taken by some as racial bias against African-Americans.”[edit]
The sentence, “This criticism was taken by some as racial bias against African-Americans” in Personal Life and Activism needs to have better sources. Right now it’s two sports blogs, and one of the authors is simply listed as “Ben.” This sentence needs to either be removed, or it needs to have better sources attributed to it.—Hobomok (talk) 01:22, 22 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Regarding the Canis Hoopus resource, I generally avoid SBNation sites, as they are too bloggy and amateurish. —Bagumba (talk) 01:40, 22 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Agreed—no way it should be used as a source in general, but especially a claim like this.—Hobomok (talk) 04:37, 22 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

If you are born to an ethnic group who are not African American, being born in America, does not make you African American. This is a seperate ethic group with their own distinct history/ethnicity. This is a common error that seems to plague any persons who happen to be "black" which in itself, also arguably should be reserved exclusively for AA, as they are the only ethnic group that does not have a geographical identity. Doing so is racist in itself, by denying his actual identity. 173.230.183.239 (talk) 22:57, 5 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
