Age[edit]

This article regularly receives test edits, and some of these change the subject's birth year. The current article gives 1981, sourced to Radio Hauraki. I added this because it was the only source I could find, but it is at best marginal for reliability because radio show hosts do like to fool around. The New Zealand Herald reports he had a daughter aged 25 in 2022, which would make him about 16 at the time of her birth if his birth year was 1981 - not impossible, but not very likely. His profile at Karen Kay Management says he plays 40-55 year-olds, which suggests his real age was somewhere in that range at the time the profile was last updated, which may have been in 2021. That site lists his earliest appearance in a play in 1989 and as a student in a film in 1990. Overall, I think it is not safe to keep the existing birth year and I have blanked it.
