Redirection[edit]

I understand Jake Pavelka isn't exactly a notable historical figure, but the traffic driven to Wikipedia by searches upon his name certainly seem to indicate that people are looking for more information about him than simply the show he was on. It's tough to say his name is not worthy of its own Wikipedia page when it's attracting more attention than other much more obscure figures, like Jesse Monroe Knowles. I have no trouble conceding that the example person I picked at random has a bigger historical impact, but just because someone is exclusively a pop-culture icon doesn't disbar them from a Wikipedia page either: Paris Hilton. So what reasoning is there for the strong stance on keeping a redirect? --Bachelor14news (talk) 18:57, 26 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

See Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Jake Pavelka, thanks! Plastikspork ―Œ(talk) 20:11, 26 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Can you clarify for me why when I created a page for him it was undone? It wasn't exactly like my edits were premature. --Bachelor14news (talk) 18:56, 20 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

New article[edit]

I have taken a bold step to write a new article on this subject. Unlike the previous article, this cites his full TV career, including his current gig as one of the celebrity contestants on the US version of "Dancing with the Stars." In view of this new aspect of Mr. Pavelka's career, I believe the previous redirect is outdated. Thank you. Warrah (talk) 18:52, 30 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

In the "Other Television" section, 'restaurant' & 'Los Angeles' are misspelled. Also, the name "Famous Food" should have a hyperlink, correct? Angelcry417 (talk) 11:27, 24 October 2011 (UTC)Angelcry417[reply]

Edit request from 71.237.2.52, 23 June 2010[edit]

{{editsemiprotected}} It seems like the second paragraph under Early life and Career actually belongs in the Reality TV section. 71.237.2.52 (talk) 06:54, 23 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Done Welcome and thanks for pointing that out. The break up is already covered in the Reality section, so I just removed the earlier paragraph. If you would like the content in the Reality section changed, please make another request. Thanks again, Celestra (talk) 14:01, 23 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

In April 2012, Jake Pavelka was surfing at beaches near Victor Habor in South Australia.

jake flies for american eagle, not american airlines. american eagle is the commuter airline affliate that flies regional aircraft.

Not done: I see no place in the article that claims Mr. Pavelka flies for American Airlines. If you're referring to the lead sentence, "American pilot" here means "pilot from the United States of America", not "pilot for American Airlines". —KuyaBriBriTalk 21:14, 4 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
