The village is famous for Rai Alhaj Aman ullah khan dhudhi, father of Rai Haq nawaz khan dhudhi( Famous Aitchisonian of the area). The village has the the honour of bringing up intellectuals and famous doctors. Dr sarfraz sipra was the first to qualify MBBS, now orthopaedic surgeon at islamabad.His elder brother Ghulam jilani sipra is known business amn rawalpindi. Dr Rai ameer usman, surgical specialist at mayo hospital lahore, and Dr Rai Khalid farooq ( psychiatrisit at france) are the names serving in health sector. Famous teacher of the area Rai Aman ullah sb is father of Dr Ameer usman and Dr umar farooq (Assistant Prof at food technology Deptt sargodha university).
Rai Umar ameer khan has served the area as union council nazim in recent past.
