PURPOSE OF THIS ARTICLE[edit]

This person is credited as being the source of inspiration for the worldwide movement that became known as Youth for Christ International which gave Billy Graham his start in life as an international evangelist and broadcaster. It is difficult to find a lot of material on this person but I am looking. However, it is certainly worthy of becoming a bio stub in the meantime due to the subject's importance to related Wikipedia articles. --Fk27jh (talk) 18:29, 22 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Both Jack Wyrtzen and John R. Rice spoke with then separated from Billy Graham in the 1950s when it became evident that he would not turn from ecumenicism in his rallies. Rice's Wikipedia entry touches upon this, and there is Christian journalism of the past which proves that Wyrtzen did the same.
