Could someone who speaks Catalan translate some of the information on him to English? Is it possible to put up a request for translation on the Catalan Wikipedia article? Njál 18:23, 9 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

You could message the Catalan ambassadors, ca:Usuari:Arturo Reina and ca:Usuari:Peleguer (both of whom speak English) and ask them to post the translation request on whatever page that wikipedia operates for such requests. -- Finlay McWalter | Talk 18:27, 9 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Needs improvement[edit]

I did a bit of cleaning up. He wasn't a farmer - he helped out with some farm chores for the family who employed him as a tutor. A key part of his biography is the scandal which resulted in him being disbarred from the priesthood and sent away into exile. I have sketched this in, but don't have the details to hand. It's all in the Puppo book which is cited.KD Tries Again (talk) 19:36, 18 August 2008 (UTC)KD Tries Again[reply]

Spanish or Catalan?[edit]

What's the logic behind describing him as spaniard? He was obviously spanish (nationality), but also catalan (cultural and ethnic group, according to the decidacted Wiki page), so it doesn't really make much sense to not describe one of the most important catalan writters as such. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Raicopk (talkcontribs) 20:27, 27 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
