Will someone please change all instances of Moon-young to Mun-young or vice versa?[edit]

Having them be inconsistent is annoying.

GOCE copyedit request[edit]

  • [...] designed Ko Moon-young's dresses that match the concept of fairy tales. This could be worded better. A source translation might be helpful, but what does "matching the concept of fairy tales" mean?Tenryuu 🐲 ( 💬 • 📝 ) 00:21, 6 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I cannot find a source translation, but this will give you an insight: 2020, the year of sumptuous TV style: From The Queen's Gambit to A Suitable Boy, small screen fashion made a statement
I think it will be better to rewrite the sentence like:

Fashion director Cho Sang-kyung managed costumes while fashion designer Minju Kim designed Ko Moon-young's dresses that match the concept of fairy tales. → Fashion director Cho Sang-kyung managed costumes; also some of Ko Moon-young's dresses were designed by fashion designer Minju Kim.

Any further ce or suggestion is welcomed. -ink&fables «talk» 06:10, 6 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
 Done. While I removed the mention of "fairytale" from the sentence, I think the dresses could be described in a similar fashion (just can't think of what that is right now). That is, if they can be described concisely in one or two words, it should still work. The link you provided to FirstPost describes them as "extremely feminine" outfits; something similar to that may work. —Tenryuu 🐲 ( 💬 • 📝 ) 23:26, 6 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • She previously worked with Kim in a commercial film. Not sure if it's particularly relevant to this article? Might be a better fit for Seo Yea-ji's article.Tenryuu 🐲 ( 💬 • 📝 ) 00:21, 6 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, it will be better to remove. -ink&fables «talk» 06:10, 6 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
 Done. —Tenryuu 🐲 ( 💬 • 📝 ) 23:26, 6 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • On the same day it premiered on Netflix in South Korea and internationally. Did it end on 9 August for Netflix as well, or was it released all at once? —Tenryuu 🐲 ( 💬 • 📝 ) 00:21, 6 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Each episode was released on the same day after its broadcast on television. -ink&fables «talk» 06:10, 6 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Philippines Cosmopolitan's [...] Emphasis in original. Is Philippines Cosmopolitan the entire title or is it just Cosmopolitan in the Philippines?Tenryuu 🐲 ( 💬 • 📝 ) 00:21, 6 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I think it is Philippines edition of Cosmopolitan. -ink&fables «talk» 06:10, 6 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
 Done. Reworded. —Tenryuu 🐲 ( 💬 • 📝 ) 23:26, 6 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • It tells a fairytale-like story of romance and emotional healing when a selfless psych ward caretaker meets an antisocial children's book writer. Already edited. It might need to be rewritten as it straddles WP:TONE. Maybe get rid of a fairytale-like story of romance and emotional healing?Tenryuu 🐲 ( 💬 • 📝 ) 00:21, 6 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
This was the hardest part for me. These are the one line introduction from various sources.

Netflix: "An extraordinary road to emotional healing opens up for an antisocial children's book writer and a selfless psych ward caretaker when they cross paths."

Naver: "A little strange romantic comedy about love like a fantasy fairy tale where Gang Tae, a mental ward protector who refuses love under the weight of a heavy life, and Moon Young, a fairy tale writer who doesn't know love due to birth defects, heals each other's wounds."

I hope this will help. -ink&fables «talk» 06:10, 6 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
 Partly done. I see the problem: those intros were written to evoke emotion and tease potential viewers into watching, which unfortunately isn't suitable for Wikipedia. I've trimmed that out to The series follows a selfless psych ward and an antisocial children's book writer. How does it look?Tenryuu 🐲 ( 💬 • 📝 ) 23:26, 6 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
It looks really good. -ink&fables «talk» 03:28, 7 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Tenryuu: Replied :-) -ink&fables «talk» 06:12, 6 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@-ink&fables: Thanks for your answers; most of my questions have been answered. There's only one that I still want to ask you before I do one final passover; specifically the one about describing the show's premise. —Tenryuu 🐲 ( 💬 • 📝 ) 23:26, 6 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Tenryuu: Thank you for your work. -ink&fables «talk» 03:28, 7 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@-ink&fables: Ok, I think that's everything on my end, so I'll consider the request complete. Here's something you may want to consider in terms of formatting; have you thought about using definition lists for the cast? Instead of bullet points, the character's name is in bold, while their description is indented right beneath it. So if I were to do
;Example

:Description

I'd get
Example
Description
It's somewhat commonly done on other pages with characters like List of Re:Zero − Starting Life in Another World characters, but again, it's optional; CSI: Crime Scene Investigation#Cast and characters does it like this page. —Tenryuu 🐲 ( 💬 • 📝 ) 07:51, 7 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Tenryuu: thank you for the good idea, but it has been done like this in all Korean drama article, so it will be better to leave as it is. -ink&fables «talk» 11:29, 7 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
-ink&fables, no worries. Take care and good luck with the BCN! —Tenryuu 🐲 ( 💬 • 📝 ) 11:42, 7 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
