The 376 Expansion[edit]

If 376 is being expanded that much to end back at 76, then wouldn't it be possible that it could be changed to an even-first-digit designation? Has AASHTO sounded off on this matter yet? EmiOfBrie 23:47, 13 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Expansion graphic[edit]

I think the new graphic, from the Post Gazette, is questionable from a fair-use standpoint. We can't just use other people's illustrations because it's easier than making our own. —Cleared as filed. 04:23, 3 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed. --SPUI (talk - don't use sorted stub templates!) 12:55, 5 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I-376 to be north-south on Parkway West?[edit]

Does anyone know if once 376 takes over the Parkway West and PA Route 60, will the portion of 376 currently containing 60 go north-south, with the switch back to east-west occuring in Pittsburgh when 376 goes back to the Parkway East, or will the entire route remain east-west? Also, I plan on posting a pic of one of the "Future I-376 Corridor" signs that were recently posted along PA Route 60 in the near future. Jgera5 01:55, 10 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'd guess east-west, given that it is mostly east-west, and carries US 22 and US 30. It was I-76 from 1970 to 1972. --SPUI (T - C) 00:26, 20 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I read somewhere that the entire route will be signed east-west, with the "western" terminus at I-80 near Sharon, and the eastern terminus in the same place it's always been. (If I'm correct, that means the exit numbers will be lowest near Sharon, and highest in the city of Pittsburgh and points east.) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.137.181.56 (talk) 10:54, 14 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
All of I-376 is signed as east/west. Brian Powell (talk) 17:53, 22 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

New picture from the same vantage point[edit]

I was the person that uploaded the first of the three images on this page in chronological order, the vantage point from downtown. I will take another picture from the same vantage point and try to get a better picture...the picture that I uploaded was taken on a regular camera and then scanned in, when a digital picture, like the ones I uploaded to the I-279 and I-579 pages, would probably look a whole lot better. I did use a different screen name for the upload...I had to change my name because I lost the code to it by not using it for about a month and not writing it down. (User, Enlightenedment).

Extension to 79[edit]

Has there been anything about the renumbering of 279 to 376, which was approved by AASHTO? --SPUI (T - C) 01:21, 20 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Expansion Map[edit]

Is it possible that we could:

  1. Get a map of the current 376
  2. Get a map of the extension of 376?

--myselfalso 21:17, 1 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The current expansion map seems to be inaccurate. The routing of Interstate 99's new, completed section to I-80 is completely wrong. Can someone fix that? SluisHeart (talk) 16:12, 15 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I-376 Expansion[edit]

It's now February, and interstate 376 was supposed to be expanded on Jan 1st, 2009. Has anyone heard any news about what is going on with this? I haven't been able to find one update about what is going on with this expansion. Dude 2006 (talk) 00:31, 7 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Me either. --MPD T / C 01:52, 7 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Here it is, using templates that can be transferred to the article (and to I-279's):

Orphaned references in Interstate 376[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Interstate 376's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "Delorme":

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 21:00, 17 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
