Talk page interaction demanded

This revert and edit summary is a bit brusque for use with an inexperienced editor who has made a reasonable edit, only without awareness of the template to use for the purpose. However, since the edit summary reads Please discuss on talk page before restoring this notation, I'm mentioning it here rather than simply applying the template. WP:MOSNUM (more specifically, MOS:DIGITS) does recommend the notation without commas: "This style is especially recommended for articles related to science, technology, engineering or mathematics." —Quondum 20:58, 10 December 2019 (UTC)

  • I agree. Not only was Palladipeloarancione's edit a reasonable one, and consistent with the recommendations of MOSNUM, but it brought the edited text into line with the rest of the article. Sure it could be improved with thin spaces, and I would support that too. Dondervogel 2 (talk) 22:00, 10 December 2019 (UTC)
