Wiki Education Foundation-supported course assignment[edit]

This article was the subject of a Wiki Education Foundation-supported course assignment, between 26 October 2020 and 29 November 2020. Further details are available on the course page. Student editor(s): Mbastola, Teruhiro Shigeno, Sa2001oki.

what are they? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 141.53.38.219 (talk) 09:14, 31 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

they are 4 statements made in 1992 in a conference held in dublin, but they are not related to IWRM, as stated in the paper "Integrated water resources management - a reassessment ", by biswas, 2009. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 131.180.58.238 (talk) 09:53, 2 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Add 'Status of IWRM Implementation'[edit]

I think it would be better to add a new section with the title 'Status of IWRM Implementation'. Under this title, we will be writing the degree of IWRM implementation in reference to the SDGs data. It will be categorized on the basis of the continent. --Mbastola (talk) 03:13, 21 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I think that is a great suggestion. Sa2001oki (talk) 01:01, 23 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Revise the lead[edit]

The lead should include the main points of the article. The lead at the moement may be lacking a few important takeaways of the article so we must revise it and add to it. Sa2001oki (talk) 01:03, 23 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Merge into water resources[edit]

This article has lingered at "start" level for very long. I suggest that we merge it into water resources.EMsmile (talk) 14:41, 17 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I think it seems a bit long to be inserted in the water resources management section of the water resources page. Zaelzo (talk) 16:46, 27 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
During the process of merging, the content of the IWRM article would be condensed as a lot of it is actually outdated, not properly sourced or not encyclopedic. EMsmile (talk) 17:03, 27 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I've carried out the merger now. Further work is needed to improve the IWRM content at water resources now. EMsmile (talk) 08:53, 20 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
