I am having trouble making the mental leap as to why the mention of Barack Obama is included in the lead of this article; albeit well sourced, it just really seems out of place, and is never mentioned again in the main text. Change The previous black president was Barack Obama, 27 years before Umana to Imele Umana was the third black president of the Harvard Law Review, after President Barack Obama and Dr. David Panton. She was the first black female president of the esteemed legal journal.
