Deletion of some facts[edit]

"Rohto Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. is headquartered in the ward. This area of Osaka is well-known for its yakiniku (Korean-style barbeque) restaurants and the large number of Korean-Japanese citizens living there. "

I deleted the above sentences because it isn't exactly encyclopedic. Osakadan 05:41, 31 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • I think the bit about yakiniku is kind of important because it's a main attraction of the area. Illuminatedwax 00:39, 1 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Two sentences deleted[edit]

The following two sentences were removed because they describe the Zainichi in too much general than appropriate to fit into this small article about a ward of Osaka city.

While some Koreans freely chose to immigrate to Japan, many were forced to move to Japan when the Japanese occupied Korea. Many were forced to work in factories, in mines and as labourers, often under appalling conditions.[1] —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mantokun (talkcontribs) 12:45, 13 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
