Russian-Canadian[edit]

Gretzky[edit]

We had a recent debate about whether Korolev should be listed as Russian or Russian-Canadian. I suggest that Wayne Gretzky's page be looked upon. He is in the same situation as he's got dual citizenship. He is only listed as a Canadian player, but from I have been told, according to Wikipedia policy he should be listed as Canadian - American. • Last I checked, this is the Igor Korolev article, not the Wayne Gretzky article. Perhaps you might have wanted to start by posting on the proper talk page. Had you done so, you would have noticed that the subject had been discussed (quite exhaustively), in which debate an editor posted a link of an interview in which Gretzky said that he had never obtained United States citizenship. No doubt should you find any reliable source indicating the contrary, it should be brought to people's attention ... on the appropriate talk page. Ravenswing 13:40, 20 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
