Moved from Itō Ichirō[edit]

The pronunciation is Itō Ichirō, but when Ichiro writes his name in romanji he writes it "Ichiro ito", not "Itō Ichirō". —This unsigned comment was added by Clouded (talkcontribs) .

There's no such thing as "romanji" (it's "rōmaji" (no "n")). As for the writing, did you read WP:MOS-JA? It clearly indicates that Ichirō Itō is how the name should be for the article title. --日本穣 02:11, 26 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I made the mistake to move this page to Ichirō Itō. That would indeed be the revised Hepburn romanization of his name. However, Wikipedia:Japanese states that it's preferred to use the system used by the person himself. On his home page he indeed uses his name without macrons and that is also the most used system on other web sites. Therefore, I moved the page back. MarioR 13:07, 20 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
