Actually the Ito Clan were given Obi Domain by Tokugawa so saying the Shimazu were given the Southern half of Hyuga is completely wrong. The Sadowara Domain was controlled by the Shimazu which included Miyakonojo, but Obi was also in the southern half and included Nichinan. The statement is wrong that the Shimazu were given the entire southern fifedom.

There were four Han in Hyuga Nobeoka, Takanabe, Sadowara, and Obi.

The two southern fifes were Sadowara controlled by the Shimazu and Obi controlled by the Ito. There are also no references to verify the info on this page. I have lived and worked in Miyazaki (formerly Hyuga) for 10 years and this article contradicts the entire history of the Miyazaki area from the Kumaso Era to the present. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Danjrea (talk • contribs) 11:48, 6 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
