Huangacocha with "c" instead of "g"[edit]

The INEI spells it with "c".

Googling for "laguna Huangacocha", I can find the same spelling in documents hosted in websites of the Peruvian government: an official concession to fish in said lake [1], a congress law mentioning said permission[2], a 1975 inventory of the ONERN "Oficina Nacional de Evaluación de Recursos Naturales" list natural resources in the zone [3]. A report from the Ministry of Agriculture listing hydraulic resources and all lakes in the zone[4], some sort of report from the municipality where the lake is[5]. I can see a lot of official documents using this spelling.

Also, a Peruvian news site listing Huamachuco0s touristic sites spells the name that way and says that "cocha" means "lake" when talking about nearby Sausacocha Lake [6].

Please don't revert my move just because it was first made by a blocked user. Thanks. --Enric Naval (talk) 12:50, 9 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
