I saw that the reference to the Gemeentegids had been removed because the information in it had been copied from the Dutch Wikipedia. But the Gemeentegids is an official publication by the municipality, and if they print something that has been copied, they must endorse it, and the reference can be used. Name?[edit]

Has anything ever come of plans to rename Hoofddorp? I understand that due to its size, many felt the name "dorp"/village was misleading. JFW | T@lk 07:33, 24 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

@Jfdwolff I live there. There was nothing about renaming at all. And how should we name it then? Hoofdstad? (Capital in dutch) (If literally then Head city) Smilecountry NL (talk) 10:15, 24 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
