Missing historical attestation[edit]

The article as written at this date doesn't contain a single line about how we know detailed information about what the Sun was doing in Homer's time. This is not a trivial point. There needs to be a dedicated section, catalogued in the Contents, called Historical Attestation or words to that effect, that divulges who identified this event and how. Um. The article is not about a historical event, but about a climate event reconstructed from paleoproxies which has then been related to historical events. Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk) 10:02, 19 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
