Overhaul for tone, etc.[edit]

Hi. I've just made substantial changes to this article.

  • I removed puffery and promotional language, including categorically unverifiable statements.
  • I added the unsourced section template to several sections, as they provide no sources whatsoever.
  • I removed a statement about student-teacher ratio from the lead, as it was not stated elsewhere in the article, the source provided contained no such information, and other sources I found were unreliable and conflicted with each other.
  • I removed two names from the notable alumnae section after conducting WP:BEFORE and determining that they were not notable (see WP:LISTBIO).
  • I added sources to two names in the notable alumnae section and redlinked them, as they qualify to have their own articles.
  • I fixed various grammatical errors in the article.
  • I marked several dead references as such.

Comments: This article is in dire need of quality primary sources. Even with my edits, it functions much more as an advertisement than a source of encyclopedic information. With the exception of the sources I added (which are rather unimportant to the scope of the article), the article relies exclusively on self-published sources that are not independent of the subject. I may do some more work on this article at some point, but I have other projects that I want to see through first. I'm leaving this message in hopes that someone else out there might want to help get it up to standard per WP:MOS.
