Citation[edit]

Dear Sir, I did cit. the German Wikipedia. Because knowing by myself I would like to point out that Herbert was a good ski racer but he became more and more sensory. Maybe, the missed appreciation of his silver medal in the 1968 Winter Olympics was the cause for it. Austrian medias (radio, television, newspapers) were fussy with reports about all the matters which were in regard to Karl Schranz. But no one could assume that his frame of mind would lead to a suicide (but you must start from the premise that at that time such "adverse events" were underrated; maybe, in the U.S.A. there were experts for nerve disease).
