Adding hemming[edit]

I think that the topic of hemming should also be added to this article and move the article to the name Hemming and seaming. The processes are very similar, so much so that Drozda discusses them together. As such I think it makes sense to have just one article on the combined topics. Let me know if this makes sense or not. Tonnage?[edit]

I suspect this article is not often looked at, but the use of “tonnage” in this context is baffling, since I was under the impression that it meant something about ships and weight. After looking elsewhere on Wikipedia (to see if I could add a link) and on Wiktionary (to see if this is even a term that exists) I’m having doubts about the meaning of this term. If anyone could clarify, preferably in the article, that would be great. Thanks, postleft ✍ (Arugula) ☞ say hello! 20:37, 15 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I found an explanation of tonnage in this context (https://books.google.com/books?id=ViUmhImu630C&pg=PA37&lpg=PA37&dq=sheet+metal+%22tonnage+means%22&source=bl&ots=3XbR5UWbRm&sig=ACfU3U3NZDk8XHo7QhAEnOJi9KBvk-RDOA&hl=en&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwic6IzMxNL0AhVbjYkEHQh7CxwQ6AF6BAgREAM#v=onepage&q=sheet%20metal%20%22tonnage%20means%22&f=false) and added it. I figured no citation was needed since it's apparently a commonly understood meaning of the term.Roricka (talk) — Preceding undated comment added 20:45, 7 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
