Untitled[edit]

I believe the identification of her as the daughter of Gov. Henry M. Hoyt is incorrect. The poet is recorded as having been born in 1887 in Norwalk, Connecticut. While Henry M. Hoyt did have a daughter named Helen, her name was probably Helen Strong Hoyt and she was probably born in 1871 in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. See the gravestone of this Helen Hoyt, and compare with the information on the date and place of birth of Henry M. Hoyt's other children given in his Wikipedia article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Gothamscholar (talkcontribs) 06:05, 9 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
