  • Welcome to DYK, Ruwaym! New enough and long enough. You did not need to review another article.
  • The hook fact is interesting. I am assuming good faith on the contents of the Arabic-language offline source. That said, I don't think it's quite correctly worded for what the article states.
  • ALT0a: ... that Syrian novelist Hani al-Rahib had a deaf-mute father and an illiterate mother?
  • Some areas need copyediting that I don't have enough information to make, particularly
  • Following many circumstances — be more specific
  • Unsure of the meaning of "delegated" in Delegated in 1971 to obtain a doctorate in modern English literature from the University of Exeter, England and graduated.

Hola @Sammi Brie: and Gracias for checking. Well. If you are interested, so you found the right person: I'm a user into biographies of Arabic-literature notables, I listed more than a hundred DYKs in my homewiki, some of them are really funny/tradegy. Just needs translation.
I fixed what you mentioned.
Oh cool, Ruwaym! Your ping didn't make it to me because you didn't sign your message (no signature). The English is I think good enough at this point to pass. You'll definitely be an asset to our coverage on Arabic literature! Sammi Brie (she/her • tc) 03:59, 23 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
