Cheers my foot, Cyberbot II. I'm an alumnus ('84) of the original Hahnemann Medical College, as was my late Uncle Charles ('47). The article as written (when?) was hopelessly out of date. "Hahnemann University Hospital" doesn't even exist any more. It is now called only "Hahnemann Hospital", as it is the main teaching hospital of Drexel University College of Medicine, which graciously allowed the old place, first built in 1885, to retain its original name and not be so easily and profitably renamed "Drexel University Hospital", which, frankly, I would have favored, since the old place was rife with scandal (see articles about Rep. Joshua Eilberger and 1973 financing controversy for the North Tower). I have revised the article for content, making sure to verify my facts. NOW, THE ONLY OTHER TEXT THAT MUST BE CHANGED IS THE NAME: "HAHNEMANN HOSPITAL", not "Hahnemann University Hospital" (sic), which no longer exists.

Homeopathy[edit]

Given that the medical school was named after the inventor of homeopathy, was it ever taught there or practiced at the hospital? -- Beland (talk) 03:27, 14 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

It would be helpful and interesting the transition from homeopathic medicine to allopathic (i.e. regular modern medicine).
I expect there was turmoil.

Agreed. The histories of the hospital I've seen don't go into any detail. I don't know how this could be researched. Possibly through medical journals of the time. Beyond the scope of many WP editors, like me. David Spector (talk) 11:07, 15 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
