Guatay - meaning of word.[edit]

Native America word for native Junipers growing mostly east and north of the area. Here applied to the native Tecate cypress growing on the north side of Guatay Mountain in and above the community of Guatay. I heard this from an elder Geologist who heard it from an elder Native American in the area.
