the article says the upper guadalupe is a popular toobing destination. i am a local, and by far the most popular section for toobing is well below canyon dam,(the lower guadalupe)—Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.117.85.47 (talk) 01:14, 20 July 2007

Good point - are there any tubing outfits before Canyon Lake? Let me see if I can fix that. Kuru talk 01:49, 20 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

yes, i believe there are outfitters above canyon lake, but id say at least 90% of all toobing is done below the lake. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.192.20.87 (talk) 18:12, August 26, 2007 (UTC)

San Antonio River as a tributary[edit]

This page said the Guadalupe flowed into the San Antonio River, but case is just the opposite. I cited the USGS GNIS pages on the distributaries and forks. That the San Antonio River is a tributary can be seen by comparing the mouth coordinates at U.S. Geological Survey Geographic Names Information System: San Antonio River, U.S. Geological Survey Geographic Names Information System: Guadalupe River, and the two distributary GNIS links I used on the main page. It can also be seen on Google Maps (click the "terrain" button for river names). Pfly (talk) 17:01, 26 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
