Oppose, not the WP:COMMONNAME. Checking for reliable sources post name change (May 2017 to 24 June 2023), I get 182 hits for "Gorakhpur Airport" in quotes versus only 2 hits for "Mahayogi Gorakhnath Airport" in quotes or other iterations of it with the suffix "airport" which is mandatory per the new name request. Other than that a few more sources sources mentioning that it has been renamed after "Maha Yogi Gorakhnath", but doesn't quote the phrase "Mahayogi Gorakhnath Airport", latter of which is necessary for this discussion. When checking for sources using the term "Gorakhpur Airport" that doesn't mention ""Gorakhnath", we get around 18,000 hits for the time period after the name has been changed, clear;y demonstrating that the article name — "Gorakhpur Airport" is still theh WP:COMMONNAME. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 10:38, 24 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
