The result of the move request was: moved. WP:COMMONNAME and WP:CONCISE outweigh guidelines which "usually" apply for an entirely different aristocracy. (closed by non-admin page mover) 🌺 Cremastra (talk) 16:33, 14 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Giuseppe Gonzaga, Duke of GuastallaGiuseppe Maria Gonzaga – This man is known to history as Giuseppe Maria, not just Giuseppe. The name can even be seen in the engraving. Giuseppe Maria Gonzaga is unambiguous, common, concise, and precise. Surtsicna (talk) 15:21, 3 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Now it's all coming to light. All those obvious misinterpretations of recognizability are starting to make sense. It's all about royals having titles as grand as possible. It does not even matter if we get their actual name wrong. Just make it ♦grand♦. Brilliant. Surtsicna (talk) 20:32, 3 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support. These European title are not like British peerage titles. The name is generally far better known than the title. -- Necrothesp (talk) 14:54, 8 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
