Cannibis Use Section

This section doesn't really explain that there was a controversy surrounding the incident, it more just insinuates in, or implies that him smoking pot should be controversial or condemned. Header

This "Gentleman Claims" section is outrageous. It ought to be deleted. I have no particular opinion on Mr. Rivera or Ms. Malkin, but no one can think that it's even mildly close to unbiased.

The Satanist Quote

250 million Satanists in 1997? That's ridiculous. www.census.gov lists the current US population as just under 300 million. The population in 2000 was 280 million. So what this quote is saying is that >90% of the US population is Satanic. I'm removing this section until someone can cite it.

Why does it say that SBC hired him as a 'doctor.' I don't get it.

I heard a possibly apocryphal story about Geraldo being targeted by The Mafia. Is this true? If so it should be put in the article (ABSOLUTLY WITHOUT ANY COMMENTS SUCH AS: 'possibly because they found him annoying').

I'm just wondering if anyone knows where Geraldo leans since i've always considered him a liberal but i'm not sure he would be on fox news and o'reilly show if he was at least without saying so? just curious.. (Curefreak)

Moronic section

^is one of the stupidest things I've ever seen on wiki. Regardless of what the NRA may or may not have said, that statement is moronic and irrelevant to any encyclopedic source. One guy may believe that the second amendment is applicable to carrying a weapon in a foreign warzone, but it's an entirely untrue and ridiculous claim. The fact that it links the Columbine Massacre with carrying a sidearm in Afghanistan makes the section all the more objectionably ignorant. Should we add quotes from Geraldo's 1992 interview with openly lesbian reporter?

Gail Shister, openly lesbian newspaper reporter, did an interview with Geraldo Rivera in 1992 about his questionable relationship with Brandon Tartikoff. Knight Ridder Newspapers published it in several newspapers. Here's how The Washington Post TV columnist John Carmody ran it in the Post edition of November 13, 1992 on pg. C10.

Not one to suffer silently, Geraldo Rivera yesterday lashed out at former NBC Entertainment chief Brandon Tartikoff, whose new autobiography was not kind to Rivera ...

"I'd like to shove that book up the part of Brandon's body where the sun doesn't shine," Rivera told Knight-Ridder's Gail Shister yesterday, adding that he hadn't read it but knew of the section mentioning him. "It's a cheap shot. He's a gross hypocrite and a lying Hollywood punk"...

In the book, Tartikoff calls his decision to air Rivera's 1988 special on Satanism, which drew a record audience but lousy reviews, the low point of his career ...

"I'm an easy target," Rivera said. "It's easy to say you fear and loathe Geraldo, especially after you've slept with him and have reaped the benefits" ...
