Nice Advertisement[edit]

This is a nice advertisement for your Cupcake store. However, it has no business being in an encyclopedia. It is also the only store referenced in the Georgetown neighborhood article as well. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 61.18.170.10 (talk) 12:19, 8 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, very interesting....[edit]

...that the word flavor (NA English spelling) is spelled "flavour" (the British & Canadian spelling); since the owners are from Toronto, that would lend credence to the belief that the owners wrote an article that advertisers their own business. In addition, Cake Love (Warren Brown's store on U Street) predates Georgetown Cupcake by several years. Unless the article is claiming that Cake Love doesn't count because it sells items other than just cupcakes, the claim that Georgetown Cupcake was the first specialty cupcake store is false.
