Suggestion[edit]

Can I suggest we move this to something like 'Treaty relations between the British and Trucial Oman' or 'and the Trucial Sheikhs' as the other treaties are in here now and it's quite a neat wrap-up of the whole thing. Number of emirates[edit]

The lead now says "The General Maritime Treaty of 1820 was initially signed between the rulers of Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah and Great Britain".

However, in the text we see 9 emirates instead of 6 (10 with Bahrain) - with the addition of Jazira-Hamra, Khatt and Rams. --95.24.70.129 (talk) 17:48, 23 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
