1988 cd[edit]

I had deleted this info and SuperconductormanII added it back. Fine- I don't need to have a fight about it, so I'm leaving it. But I'll bring it up for everyone. The information is worthless. It was an early CD manufacturing glitch. It was not intended and therefore is unworthy of mentioning here. It is like saying that "early pressings of the "Hotter Then Hell" cd had scratchy noises during "Strange Ways". Who could possibly care? It is not the same as The Elder for example, which was purposefully released with an out-of-sequence track listing, which was corrected on the remasters. That's intentional difference in cd releases. The points in this article are not. ( Redrkr (talk) 02:42, 12 July 2014 (UTC) )[reply]

It is a KISS album.[edit]

All four solo albums are listed as KISS albums on their website. They are also listed as KISS albums on allmusic.com. And according to the rather comprehensive book The Kiss Album Focus, the albums all counted against KISS's contract with Casablanca Records. In the future, I ask that you bring things like this up BEFORE making changes. --cholmes75 16:12, 17 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It isn't a KISS album. It is on the site because it is related to the band. It's a Gene Simmons album because HE WAS THE ONLY ONE ON THE ALBUM. It does belong on the discography, but the artist should be listed as Gene. Somebody else can change it, though. Tim Long 05:46, 22 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well, if that is so, why is the KISS-logo printed in the left corner of the cover?--80.133.231.180 16:03, 12 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Technically, it is a Kiss album. Like the other 3, it was released by, and credited to, Kiss. However, it may be that it is considered to be a de facto solo album. Perhaps this should be brought up at Talk:Kiss and/or WT:ALBUM to get wider input. Joefromrandb (talk) 20:16, 26 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
(As this comes almost 5 years belatedly, it's possible no one is still interested. But anyway...) Joefromrandb (talk) 23:22, 26 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Gene simmons solo album cover.jpg[edit]

Image:Gene simmons solo album cover.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 10:05, 4 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

1988 CD INDEX Error Relevance[edit]

I'm sure it would be relevant to anyone who bought this particular pressing of the CD and was confused about the track splitting. It is confirmation to them that it is entirely in the cue sheet and not an error in their system. If it's really bugging Redrkr I have no problem with removing it. And thanks for the info on early Hotter Than Hell's. I own one and never listened to it all the way through. Nice to know. — Preceding unsigned comment added by SuperconductormanII (talkcontribs) 04:42, 12 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
