This matter was listed at WP:CP on 12/28/08 and has come current. I have left a note for the contributor of this article, who is very likely the original author, advising him how to verify his permission for us to use this material. I have also now e-mailed the author of the identified articles at Moscow State University. Unless there are articles by other authors, his permission through the Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials process should be sufficient to allow us to use the material. I've received a response from the professor at MSU with permission, which I have forwarded to the permissions address.
