Political alignment[edit]

Italian IPs have been attempting to label this newspaper as "Far left" politically. There has never been a source to support this, and it has been undone by multiple editors. Is there some basis for this or is this just some bizarre vandalism? Meters (talk) 19:33, 31 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi IP! The name of this paper comes from the term Gaudy (according to the article, from Latin gaudium). It seems this song is about the Gadie Burn, a river or related body of water (no Wikipedia article). So not related, but still an interesting etymological similarity!
