First Modern Double Bass?[edit]
According to the book "Looking at the Double Bass", by Raymond Elgar, Gasparo is also "generally considered to be the originator of the double bass instrument...". I'm not really a good Wikipedia writer by any sense of the word, so if anyone else could work with that... Smfairlie (talk) 17:43, 14 December 2010 (UTC)
