Notability of preserved steam locomotives[edit]

Please read my thread started at Talk:LMS 5MT Black 5 44806#Notability of preserved steam locomotives, thanks. Andy Dingley (talk) 20:53, 1 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Prod tag[edit]

I've been bold and removed the prod tag as I believe the locomotive to be noteworthy enough as a preserved ex-mainline steam locomotive. If the locomotive was an industrial locomotive, then notability may become an issue. This whole subject really needs to be thrashed out at the UKTrains wikiproject, until then the article should stay. Mjroots (talk) 22:03, 2 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
