Not the only French ship Marengo[edit]

This entry should be 'French ship Marengo (1810)'. There was a previous and more famous one, the flagship of Admiral Linois. As of now I don't know when she was launched. Are we sure the illustration is of the sistership of the 1810 Marengo? It looks like an earlier ship-of-the-line to me. Anyone got any suggestions here? Done. The illustration is that of Achille, taken as a canonical Téméraire class ship of the line. The Marengo of 1810 is sometimes labeled a Courageux class, which is a subtype of the Téméraire class. Rama (talk) 21:16, 21 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
